Formula E Season 6, the world’s first fully-electric international single-seater street racing series, organized by the FIA, is about to begin on November 22th in Saudi Arabia. For Efacec, the 2nd year of the partnership with reigning champion DS Techeetah is a new opportunity to boost business development and to reinforce Efacec’s positioning as a leading company in the value chain of mobility, energy and environment.

Efacec makes a positive appraisal of the first year of partnership with DS Techeetah and believes that it opens new perspectives of synergies and opportunities for sharing knowledge, thus contributing to an excellent performance of the team.

“The first year of our partnership with DS Techeetah could not have ended in a better way. We are pleased to have associated ourselves with Jean-Éric Vergne’s revalidation of the drivers’ title and as well to DS Techeetah’s team championship title. We hope that the team can reach an equal performance in the Season 6 and we will do everything to contribute to the success of the team this year”, said Ângelo Ramalho, CEO of Efacec.

“Having Efacec as a partner is a great pleasure and a true representation of what B2B opportunities we can achieve when we have aligned partners. Efacec offers some of the best electric mobility solutions on the market and we’re very proud to be their partners and to develop both businesses side by side. We’re looking forward to helping Efacec showcase its products and brand globally as we strive for another championship win together,“ said DS Techeetah Team Principal, Mark Preston.”

For Efacec, Formula E is an opportunity to reinforce brand awareness; a business platform, comprehensively and not exclusively in electric mobility and the right framework for the development and application of technologies designed by the company.

“Throughout Season 5, Efacec had the opportunity to take important steps towards achieving these goals. For example, we started, in partnership with APCER, a project for DS Techeetah to obtain FIA’s environmental certification; we strengthened our position as a leader in electric mobility by carrying out projects in some countries that have hosted the championship, such as Monaco, France and Germany; we took some important steps to  make Efacec known worldwide, in Europe, Latin America, USA, Middle East and Asia”, said Ângelo Ramalho.

Portugal’s connection to Formula E is reinforced this season. In addition to having a partnership with Efacec, the only Portuguese company present in Formula E, DS Techeetah team has been reinforced with the Portuguese driver António Félix da Costa. “We have been contributing to the promotion of Formula E as the future of motorsport. We already brought the DS Techeetah car to Lisbon in Season 4 and 5 and we gave the opportunity to young students and Efacec employees to get to know the drivers, the technicians and the backstage of some races. We hope that during this new season Formula E can get more Portuguese fans”, concludes Ângelo Ramalho.
