HEDNO (Hellenic Electricity Distribution Network Operator), the operator of the Greek energy distribution network, has awarded Efacec the replacement of command centers in the regions of Macedonia-Thrace, Central Greece, Epirus and Peloponnese. The technology designed by Efacec will allow the control of almost the entire high and medium voltage distribution network in the country (315 substations and 165,000 secondary substations), covering around 7.5 million customers and generating a positive impact on a population of around 10 million people.

The project appears in the context of two successful works developed by Efacec over the last few years, namely in the Attica region and in the Greek islands’ region. These projects made it possible to reinforce the presence of Efacec in this European country.

The implementation of these command and control centers is based on the ScateX# platform from Efacec, a software that results from more than 30 years of experience in the area of automation of electrical networks, culminating in a flexible product easily adaptable to the needs of each customer and marketed with different configurations in a turnkey model. With a modern cybersecurity-oriented architecture, in the configuration directed to electric power distribution networks, Scatex# ADMS combines in a single platform functionalities of real-time operation, analytics based on advanced electrical calculation algorithms and management of incidents and planned tasks. This platform provides a unique user experience, allowing the conduction of the electric network, with maximum security and high return on investment.

With a comprehensive value chain of Energy, Mobility and Environment, Efacec acts as solution provider, EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Contracting) integrator and O&M (Operations & Maintenance) service provider. Efacec Group is present in strategic markets such as Europe, the United States of America, Latin America, Asia, Middle East, Maghreb and Southern Africa.
