According to AIP, this award was granted to EFACEC to reward a Group that along more than 50 years, has undertaken lot of changes required by its kind of activities and by international markets competitiveness, having proven to be able to face all the great challenges encountered despites enormous difficulties inherent to a large organisation with diversified and utmost technological competencies and exigent international markets.

AIP also refers that this award was granted due to the joint effort of EFACEC leaders and staff who always found, on crucial occasion, the support of strong leadership in men whose names are, without any doubt, associated with the success of the EFACEC Group.

The EFACEC Group, the largest Portuguese Group in the field of Electronics and Electromechanics, employs around 2000 people and has a turnover of almost 250 million Euro; it is established in more than 50 countries and exports almost half of its production.
