Efacec marked its presence in the north African markets for over two decades.
It started with some projects in Tunisia that focused on the Energy area. Over the years Efacec has consolidated its focus and has progressively extended its activity to other Maghreb countries (Algeria and Morocco) and at the same time there has been an increase of other Efacec businesses.
In the last few years, corresponding to market potential and to the good image that Efacec built from the very first projects the focus was significantly reinforced with the creation of a local company in Algeria at the end of 2005.
Today, Efacec has a significant presence in the three Maghreb countries featuring a branch in Algeria and in Morocco and a delegation in Tunisia.
Orders totalled around 36 M€ in 2007, and it already covers 7 of the 10 business areas recently established as priority.
If we were proud of our achievements up till now then we are in for a lovely surprise because the future perspectives are even more promising.
These markets (specially Algeria) are in fact crossing a prominent growth phase within all important segments for Efacec: Energy, Transport and Environment.
At the same time Efacec is in a reinforced position to access new opportunities. Permanent local presence, customer diversification beyond the traditional energy areas, its benchmark position and good image allow Efacec to face the future with substantial optimism and consolidate the ambition of doing more and better.
