In Latin America, Efacec has focused its operations in the Southern zone, covering Brazil, Argentina and Chile. In total, the company has more than 250 employees in these  three countries, with four companies and  three Manufacturing Units, among which one company, Energy Service, Ltda., (Brazil - Recife) was acquired in 2007, and one Manufacturing Unit,  Bauen Efacec (Córdoba - Argentina), was opened in June of 2007.

In Brazil, Efacec recently won the single biggest contract in its history. The main projects in the Latin America regional market  include the Transformer, Equipment, Energy Servicing, Automation, Engineering  and Transport business areas.
