Efacec

Southern Africa

In this region, Angola and Mozambique are currently Efacec’s main areas of expansion.

In Angola, where the company has a transformer and Electric Motor repair unit, important contracts have been won in the areas of Engineering, Telecommunication infrastructures, transformers, Electrical Equipment and Energy Servicing. As a result of the development of its business activity, Efacec recently won two important orders for the turnkey construction of new 60/15 kV substations  to strengthen and expand Luanda’s AT distribution network.

In the same way as Angola, Mozambique has strong links with Portugal. Here, Efacec has its own Manufacturing unit with more than 100 employees, which develop projects, particularly in the areas of Engineering and Energy, with strong involvement in the recovery of the country’s infrastructure. Currently underway are  important projects for EDM, especially in the areas of Engineering and Automation.

Besides Angola and Mozambique, Efacec believes that South Africa is also a priority country in the Southern African market  and so analyses are currently underway with a view to entering this market.
