This work was performed by a consortium integrating the following Portuguese companies: Mota Engil, Adriano and Efacec.

The Efacec Group had an important participation in this undertaking, valued at around 23 million Euros with special incidence for EFACEC Engenharia SA and other companies of the Group such as EFACEC Ambiente S.A., EFACEC Automação e Robótica S.A and Microprocessador, S.A.

EFACEC Engenharia S.A. was responsible for the supply and erection of all electromechancial and electronic equipment, kitchens, restaurants, different kinds of furniture , telephone system , clock system, public information system, control system, brightness control, lighting towers, power standby units, transforming stations, emergency  ,  runway lighting and LV/ MV electric networks as well as a small waste water treatment plant.

EFACEC Ambiente, S.A. installed the HVAC System.

EFACEC Automação e Robótica, S.A. supplied the baggage handling system.

Microprocessador S.A. was responsible for the supply of variable message signs, with public information about flights arrival and departure.

With this work, that will enable greater movement of people and goods to Cape Verde and consequently, improve investments in that country, EFACEC demonstrated, once more, to be able to integrate all its capabilities, proving to be the preferred partner for large engineering projects.
