The cycle of economic and financial recovery which has marked the life of the company over the last few years, and which has enabled it to increase profits in a continuous and sustainable way, as well as the benchmark status that it has won in international markets and the sectors in which it operates, represents a phase of achieving in an accelerated manner the strategy of growth and of strengthening the international expansion of its businesses.
In May 2007, Efacec developed a new organisational model, designed to answer the future international expansion challenges of the company.
To that end, activity has been focused on ten Business Units, responsible for the overall development of their respective areas: Transformers; Medium Voltage Equipment; Energy Servicing; Engineering; Automation; Maintenance; Environment; Renewables; Transport; and Logistics.
At the same time, continuing its unequivocal interest within the Portuguese market, Efacec developed a new approach to international markets, by focusing its activity on six regions considered to be priority markets, in which it intends to replicate its Business Units: United States of America; Latin America; Central Europe; Maghreb; Southern Africa; Spain and India.
